Lady Gaga learned to play the piano when she was four. She wrote her first piano piece when she was 13 and performed on open mic nights when she was 14. She’d attended a private Roman Catholic school in Manhattan. Both of her parents were in telecommunications. She loved to act in high school musicals, and felt that she’d been disciplined and dedicated in her academic life. It quickly skyrocketed to number one in many countries, and number two in the U.S. Pop icons such as David Bowie, Queen, as well as Michael Jackson and Madonna were her inspiration.

She received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, with Just Dance.  She won a Grammy at the 52nd awards for Poker Face, in the Best Dance Recording category.
